...are being silenced.
Facebook has deleted “Stop Islamization Of America,” a group with over 50,000 members in the wake of deadly Islamic terror attack in Orlando, Florida.
The timing of the shutdown cannot be ignored. According to Geller, the group has been in operation for six years, since 2010. Yet only now, with concerns about Islam at a height following Omar Mateen’s homophobic, religiously-motivated attack on the Orlando dance club, has the page been taken down.

And:
Reddit Bans Users, Deletes Comments That Say Orlando Terrorist Was Muslim
Reddit moderators are actively banning users posting articles discussing Orlando nightclub terrorist Omar Mateen’s religion.

yeah, it's pretty tricky to locate any FB post identifying or even hinting at Islamic terror. Not. Get out, check it out for yourself, or accept some sensationalist claptrap from Breitbart.Yeesh.

I thought being able to openly carry in Florida was supposed to prevent such an event from happening. Because you know, we're told time and time again open carry is a deterrent to criminal activity.
Special with a capital R.

Last I heard, all states have laws against any firearms in venues where alcohol is served.

Damn…where were all those militant pig humping gays when we needed one.
Funny, the ACLU blames Christians for the anti-gay atmosphere, but seems to me there are a lot more groups contributing.
(like Hollywood who depict redneck homos as pig ★■◆●ing perverts, but then depict big city gays as special intellectual artist types)

Actually here in MI, it is where alcohol is the prime source of revenue. If alcohol is served with food you can carry there.

An interesting take from another blog:
An interesting contrast on how the media is covering this story. The world press (with the exception of some Middle Eastern agencies) .... are labelling this attack as ISIS inspired committed by a radical Islamist .... the U.S. and Canadian press .... its all about guns and hate or the fault of the NRA .... NRA’s fight to stop assault weapons ban enables killers behind shootings at Orlando nightclub, Newtown, and San Bernardino to use AR-15 rifle (New York Daily News)

So how does this help us?

well, you'd have to talk to the courts and figure out why the surveillance was afoul of the Constitution. Therein lies an inherent difficulty should we actually wish to hold onto our freedoms, the real freedoms we still have. I was actually heartened to hear a few words to that effect by a GOP senator today, that the price we pay for our due process is going to allow individuals to get by.

In addition, interestingly enough, Afghanistan, where LGBT people is punishable by death, condemns the terrorist who killed
innocent people, while Turkey, where same-sex relations are not prosecuted according to the law, called the attack victims "
perverts".

What I find interesting is that the NYC Burghers scrubbed info on where terrorism may emanate yet the NSA gathers info on everybody and no one is bothered. A second thought is why are we paying the NSA tax dollars when they can't help prevent something like the Orlando shootings ? Surely the shooter made phone calls and such. Maybe if the NSA targeted specific people/groups, shooters that hit Orland and San Bernadino would not have gotten buried in the mass of useless data that is collected.

Woody, as the interweb shows us, daily, there can be such a thing as a glut of information. Perhaps that is what NSA is dealing with.

Hence my last sentence.
