This reminds me of the discussions here during the Iraq war. Bash accused some of us of wishing for calamity so that Bush would be harmed politically. Is that what is going on here?

apparently, an 'active shooter training exercise' which should demonstrate preparation and readiness, as opposed to shooting one's mouth off.

so I just got back from a hilarious exchange with a couple friends on FB. The first, a fly tying protege who works on base at Hascomb up in Massachusetts, had been following releases of info from Andrews, and was briefly alarmed and prepping for standby status. The second, a retired AF guy who is a security expert told her from the get-go that it looked like a full dress drill(for which you cannot be notifying very many people or you don't learn anything about readiness). He was right, and the whole thing was clarified in under an hour. I told them about the rather humorous, and almost simultaneous breastbeating and backpatting from Woody here and another Trumptard on another board. We all laughed and laughed. Not so much ANY new Trump voters, but a clear indication of who the really panic-stricken, knee-jerk stupid people amongst us are, and yes, we have long accepted that those folks break clearly for Trump.

Start to worry slick. There are a lot of disaffected Sanders supporters who are actually thinking of voting for Trump just because they hate Clinton so much.

not to worry, TC, I know exactly where most Sanders voters stand. I have contact with a lot of them. They will hold out, hold out, demand certain things from the convention, and then vote Hillary. The crossover will be less than from the Hillary supporters in 2008, which turned out to be around 10% of registered Dems.
