....too bad it was essentially Michelle Obama's speech from 2008, with a few Slovenia references thrown it. Even the pro Trump commentators were sort of at a loss after that was pointed out.
funny highlight after a night that basically blew the fact-check sites out of the water. Lies for three hours, followed by a blatant bit of theft of intellectual property. All cheered on by a sea of white faces. Nice start!!!!

Lets see, Mrs Trump used a couple of phrases that sounded "Similar" to Mrs Obama's speech because they both were talking about womens issues so the Dems want to paint Mrs Trumps speech as a copy cat speech. And slick post the drivel as tho it is fact. TB you still are promoting Hillary I see.

seriously, here I agree with NS again(bringing us together, whee!!!). Now,I don't tend to watch much of either party convention on the first two days. In both cases, they trot out a bunch of hyperbole painting the opposition as badly as possible, facts be damned. It's always red meat for the faithful, but if done well can have some effect. All I read this morning, is tiny articles about a couple speakers, fact-check.org ripping the content, and the big headlines of the day were the Obama ripoffs in the speech and the start of the day. For the Trump campaign to repeatedly attack, even savage and insult, the sitting governor of Ohio, a state they desperately HAVE to win, when that person controls the voting apparatus and the party turnout infrastructure is insanely stupid. Coupled with footage(maybe more prominent down this way) of Ken Cuchinelli(key to the turnout for the GOP in Virginia)throwing away his party credentials early in the afternoon after the parlimentary chaos, another wasted opportunity by a fractured party. I wouldn't lay all the blame onto Trump, the party didn't have to go along with the whole rules nonsense.

Michelle never mentioned Slovenia. I guess it can't be plagiarism.
note the Donald entered to a song which the writer specifically, in writing, demanded he never use again. Cue the lawyers. This might be fun watching the Orange Dolt take on a guy with a PhD in astrophysics.
First off, they have the gall to play the victim card by blaming the liberal press for making a big deal out of it. So basically, Trump is getting a bunch of free publicity out of this so called "fake controversy", which knowing Trump, he may have done on purpose. My take is that they're actually trying to sound like Democrats just to pick up those squishy middle swing voters, but they're not creative enough to come up with actual liberal sounding words without having to copy at least some of those words from an older liberal speech. My husband even exclaimed during Melania's live speech that she was sounding like a Democrat. Today, we know why.

slick, you do realize Obama plagiarized in his speeches don't you. I bet your lefty news organs didn't go ballistic over it then. So why don't you stop looking like a brain dead sycophant mindlessly spouting the party line:

I'm pointing out the STUPIDITY of it in terms of message management. They managed to absolutely kill the first day of the four day infomerical which is a convention. Yesterday, the entire takehome, broken down by the three major news cycles:
Early--flame-war with John Kasich, highlighting the pettiness and utter stupidity of the campaign
Evening--pics of rules fight on floor
Overnight--Melanomanina's stolen speech
That days two through four go as well.

So Melania supposedly wrote her own speech. I seriously doubt that. If she writes like she speaks, that wasn't her writing. Her syntax still follows her Slovenian native language when she speaks and that speech was too "American" sounding. She also keeps lying about her education on her own website. She claims she fully completed her university stint. In reality, she dropped out after only one year. Plus, can you just hear the commotion that would come from conservatives if Michelle Obama's father was an actual communist party member, like Melania's father was? That factoid alone would be a tea party rally to arms.
had read that one before Grendel, great read, albeit unsettling. I'm now hearing that they are throwing newly appointed Black Outreach person, Amorosa, under the bus by saying it was she who helped write the speech. Priceless!!!
and, on that note, it's off to the shore until Tuesday's return to greater Philadelphia!!
Fun times to come. I see that Joe is in town tonight. Choppers did three fly bys and a friend got caught waiting for the motorcade to head past on his way over here at dinnertime.
