That's all I've been hearing during this whole convention, fear this boogeyman, fear that boogeyman, crime is more rampant and deadly than ever, death is around the next corner, Muslims are going to force Sharia Law down our throats, terrorists are going to blow up a whole American city, the Democrats are nothing but stupid wimps, traitors and unpatriotic a$$holes, everything is all their fault and only a Republican president can save all of us from, and I quote: "radical Islamic terrorists", like just saying that solves the problem. Yada, yada, yada. Never mind that things really started going tits up due to the actions of the previous Republican president, who then handed the whole bloody choatic mess over to the next guy to deal with. Well, after all that arrogant hyperbole and gorilla chest thumping, I want to kick the TV. I mostly want to know HOW you Republicans are going to "protect" us from the big bad terrorist when your previous track record royally sucks? Where's the beef? Send in more and more troops to shoot and kill as many as possible, if that's even remotely feasible? Reinstate the draft to get enough troops to do all that for years and years to come? Have Americans forgotten that millions of Muslims and possible radicals live on the other side of the world in Asia and that they may take exception to escalated American military actions and percieved American imperialism? What's the plan?
Oh, and by the way, what was with that manly Trump air kiss towards Pence at the end of Pence's speech? And Ted Cruz wasn't a team player either. And they KNEW what he was going to say beforehand. Someone must have had it out for poor old Mike Pence tonight. Either that or Trump can't throw a convention without everything devolving into chaos because he doesn't know how to PLAN things down to the nth degree. Now we know what a Trump presidency would look like.

This convention has become a spectacular clusterfuck. It's glorious.

That's because Cruz could see from a million miles away that Trump's candidacy is a disaster.

The democrat coronation of Clinton will be no less a spectacular s*** show too. Absolute and brazen corruption by Hillary Clinton goes unpunished AND in fact is being rewarded. The whole thing is about as funny as a cancer diagnosis.

Oh, Trump screwed Ted Cruz every which way, including up. Trump new full well what was written in Ted Cruz's speech and that Cruz wasn't going to endorse Trump beforehand, because the press got a copy of the embargoed speech not long before Cruz spoke. Trump really set Cruz up for an embarrassing ride yesterday. And Cruz's poor, scared wife had to be escorted off the delegate floor due to all the that hostility. Nice people. Cruz should have had an inkling of what was to come later on because Trump even managed to time his plane's landing to drown out Cruz during one of his rallies. And a lot of people actually want this arrogant egomaniac bully to become our nation's president.

Maybe you shouldn’t be stupid enough to hold a rally at a landing strip.
Dunno....just saying...

Doesn't take much to issue a notam to pilots if you do have it on a runway.

No, but I'll bet that Trump timed when that landing occured. He can control his schedule.
Speaking of Trump, now he's shouting that he's going the be the "Law and Order" president, you can guarantee it. Hmmm, now where have I heard that line? Oh yeah. Nixon, 1968. George Wallace, 1968. Fear and loathing, crime and punishment. However, there are not enough jail cells or money in the country to house all those bad guys, usually black by the way, Trump will order the police to incarcerate, or kill in an attempt to make the streets safe again.
Except TC, back in those days we didn't have Islamnofascists immigrants murdering people here by the bucket full, nor did we have cops being executed. After 8 years of the Pansey being in office, I'd say it was time for a president who did care about law and order.

you mean those same immigrants that risk being caught by the vetting process every day for however months they're there for, woody?
just how much meth did you have to smoke to come up with that line?

What about cops shooting innocent people by mistake, like in my other thread? Are the cops above our nation's laws too? Trump was elevating them superior to everyone else without fault last night. Listening to Trump, cops can do no wrong and need to be put on their blue pedestal, forgetting that they are just as human as everyone else and can make human mistakes. No one is perfect. People are forgetting that they were hired to serve the community and keep the peace. I know it's a dangerous job, but lately, something is wrong with their training and I think it has to do with the influx of veterans with military training. Mil Think. Shoot first, figure out the specifics later.
Now, for getting rid of what you call Islamofascists. I want to know HOW? I never once heard a concrete plan out of Trump's mouth to eliminate the threat. I'm willing to bet he's going to continue Obama's drone war without batting an eye, because it's already up and running and it's easy peasy. He says he doesn't want to "nation build" anymore. Well, how's he going to wipe out Islamist radicals if he doesn't send in U.S. troops into some of those foreign countries currently inhabited by Islamic radicals? I sure don't think the U.S. is going to be "invited" in to do that killing, especially if that nation is populated by Muslims.
As for Trump, he pretty much now fits the definition of a egomaniac delusional fascist with delusions of Godhood. All those empty promises he made last night, he's never in a million years going to be able to keep to his Trumptards. Some of that rhetoric sounded downright liberal-sounding, like he's trying for some of those disaffected Sander's supporters, so perhaps he can have his cake and eat it too. He'll unite the country if people just elect him. Never in a million years with his foul bully mouth. Suckers.

serious question; Were you drunk when you wrote this?
nor did we have cops being executed.
another fact check. Murders of cops are statistically equal to this point last year(1 less, as of checking yesterday). Moreover, there has been a bit of drop since the early 2000s, when you-know-who hadn't been elected yet.
After 8 years of the Pansey being in office, I'd say it was time for a president who did care about law and order.

No, the number of deaths of cops may be the same but not the outright execution of them.

No TC, cops are not above our laws. We will have to wait and see what charges are brought and how the prosecutor handles them. As for Trump, yes he's for law law and order as the alternate is what? As for the cause being vets, a vet can recognize the difference between a toy truck and a gun (at least I hope so. Was the cop in your other thread a veteran?). The problem is the hyper racial divide that began with the election of Obama and having people like Rev Al practically living at the white house (I wonder what people would say it Trump were to invite David Duke to the white house hundreds of times) and the DOJ inserting itself local law enforcement jurisdiction. If the politicians are not careful we will have race wars and they will not be limited to one city.

Wouldn't be much of a war. One side would be destroyed thoroughly and immediately.

To do so would take the military like the Detroit riots in the 60's. The destruction will make great news headlines. Sure you want this?

Goofy idea? Look up the Detroit riots back in the late 60's and tell me they don't happen.

I don't think it's goofy to foresee rioting if we're going to continue to see videos of police shooting people that don't need to be shot.

I'm sorry, I meant to type race war, not race riots. Riots are a definite possibility, but not a war.

Any "war" would most likely begin after a series of riots not confined to black areas, as they were back in the 60s.
An all out war between the races…not likely…a few skirmishes…yea, very possible.
