That's nothing. Bush's Iraq War count is estimated between 800,000 and 1.3 million Iraqis. So Bush is responsible for about one million dead, 1-2 million widows, 5 million orphans and approximately 4.5 million people displaced, of which only 5% have returned to the still unstable country. Sure beats Obama's collateral damage all to hell, even though drone killings are just as reprehensible. And Americans wonder why people in the Middle East hate our guts. Maybe that's why Republicans have been calling Obama a wimp. He's not killed enough people for their satisfaction.

So what exactly were you trying to discuss? The fact that civilians are killed when we drop bombs? My lack of suitably expressed outrage that these specific people have died as compared to other specific people? That we are dropping bombs at all in the first place? That we haven't gone all in on the next country on the neocon regime change checklist?

No, you point out the evil deeds of the current liberal president you revile, but you tend to whitewash and forget about those same evil deeds that the previous leader from the Republican party committed. In fact, they were worse because he started those killings based on lies he told the American people. So, it's only bad to you NS when a liberal president does it now? What hypocracy. It's not a contest either, because all these innocent deaths are abhorrent, no matter which leader commits them. I think what Obama's doing with his little not-so-secret standoff drone war is chickensh*t. If you're going to fight a war, you need to have a stake in that war, so that war is rarely a palatable option.

Well we sure wouldn't want any fake narratives in a thread titled "The Obama Administration murders yet another 200."

I don't want people on the other side of the world to die because a bomb I paid for fell on their home for some policy that somehow represents me and my fellow citizens. I won't always show the same outrage when one person dies compared to another, for a multitude of reasons. Sometimes I'm paying attention, sometimes I'm not. Sometimes I care more about a person or a cause than another. I'm hypocritical. Sometimes I'm aware of it, sometimes I'm not.

So what do you want to discuss? The missed opportunities to send arms to people? The pros and cons of air strikes vs invasion? Or the varied levels of complaining people on "the left" do?

muslims <> islam the same way Christians <> Christianity

One can separate the individual from the religion or ideology they're under.

I am pretty sure most muslims "believe" in islam because they were born into it.

They have no clue there is any other way to live until they are exposed to other ideas.

I wonder why we do not see Code Pink running around the White House perimeter protesting the war.
