It sounds like many athletes are getting some sort of sicknesses from the dirty water. No doubt. It's full of bacteria and viruses from all the sewage runoff. Apparently, around 8200 liters of sewage enter Guanabara Bay
per second combined with the 100 tons of garbage that gets dumped in per day as well. Ick! You couldn't pay me enough to even stick my foot in the water.

Yeah, Brazil is not Japan.. In my opinion, the Japanese to sleep and to see dreams what else to come up with technology to turn any garbage in the DVD player or make from garbage a couple Islands and build there else one way for Shinkansen.

Yes, but Russia may be like Brazil in many places. There are toxic dumps of who knows what radioactive/carcinogenic/hypertoxic substances all throughout what used to be the Soviet Union.

Russia is worse than Chernobyl and Fukushima in some places, figuratively speaking. And Brazil compared with the Russian tundra is the English lawn. And in the Siberian taiga around the major cities of the incredible amount of garbage that no one cleans.
