New home

I am going to build a new guest house in my country site. But I want to build something unusual, something beautiful is not in the Russian style, because, as you know, I have an old Russian manor of the 19th century. Something else, but certainly not high-tech. Maybe some ideas

In principle, I already know what I want, but it's sad of course, that no one was able to offer its own version of a dream. Okay )))

Boys and girls, I'm really interested, I still have not decided which project to choose, do me a favor, spend a little time on it, I do not want what they to offer me. Maybe house will be built according to your suggestions.
P.S. The budget is about 30 thousands on this house. Well, + or - two-three of thousands of dollars.

I understand the idea of architecture. Though I think the creation of the mountains and waterfalls will not keep within my budget :) I can only do fountains and a small pond with fish. THX

I agree with woodchip about log homes sigma. They're very nice, but if you don't want to hassle with the cutting and shaping of heavy logs, a log house kit with already cut logs is best, which I doubt you can easily obtain in Russia. Personally, my favorite the Mountain Chalet style of home and you don't have to use logs for the main structure if you don't want to. They look the best in snow too.

I also love Eastlake Victorian houses, but they've got a HUGE amount of wood detail work to create and paint.

In our area, the Craftsman Style was very popular during the 1920's. I love the porches and heavy appearing construction.
