Joking aside though, I do know what you mean. One reason I voted for Trudeau in 2015 was the hope that Canada would eventually be able to go back to peacekeeping instead of fighting wars that I don't believe in.

Mel Gibson just came out with Hacksaw Ridge, film of pacifist who was a corpsman with marines on Okinawa. Don't know about anyone else but I have the highest respect for combat medics especially those who were pacifist.
