..from the horse's own mouth... (well, actually a horse would be more attractive in this case.)
THIS is the reason the political establishment must be thrown out.

geez, this is how things have worked forever(knew two folks from around here as a kid that gave their way to cushy ambassadorships in loverly spots), and the nation has survived just fine. Find me an example of this sort of relationship leading to a true miscarriage of the nation's duties. The closest I can think of might be the guy Bush awarded the FEMA job to, with no emergency response background and a career show horse judge. Generally, the biggest risk is via the lucrative revolving door in big-money think tanks for 'retiring' Federal officials and Congressmen, and a very similar setup with Wall Street. This has led to some god-awful skewing of the economic playing field to the detriment of most Americans, and a massive amount of wasteful revenue expenditures.

The same form of government he has always been for; a military dictatorship. Preferably run by Captain America's personality programmed into an invincible terminator robot army.

I guess that's what Krom's idea of a constitutional republic that guarantees the rights of the individual is.

so, keep wringing hands over who gets to be ambassador to Monaco, or coming up with hyperbolic theories about military control. Here's your real problem, multiplied by dozens if not hundreds, ongoing for, well, forever:
