..that was heard around the world.
Congress Votes to Override Obama Veto on 9/11 Victims Bill

Congress on Wednesday voted overwhelmingly to override a veto by President Obama for the first time, passing into law a bill that would allow the families of those killed in the Sept. 11, 2001, terrorist attacks to sue Saudi Arabia for any role in the plot.

Democrats in large numbers joined with Republicans to deliver a remarkable rebuke to the president

now this crap would be funny if it weren't TRUE. These nitwits are actually blaming Obama, who vetoed the bill, for not giving them a strong enough presentation of why not to override legislation they passed....TWICE.

what sucks is that the American people are universally disgusted at a government that doesn't work for them, yet these clowns are the reason, at least for the past 7 years, why no intelligent discourse on policy can occur. But, it's all about liberals and Obama, right?

So by vetoing a bill that is a strong presentation?

seriously? You think maybe they'd have re-thought it before the override vote, just out of common sense?

This can't be blamed only on Obama Opposition. The bill's original passage might have been able to pass without Democrats (I didn't look at vote totals) but the veto override doesn't happen without support from Democrats. So what is it, pandering to 9/11 families? I mean I can see some liberals being ok with the repercussions, having foreigners sue the US for our foreign escapades or whatever, but liberals like that don't typically make it to Congress.

Either way, it's pretty funny to see Congress pass a bill, have it vetoed, override the veto, and then blame the president for a bad bill they passed twice. Not like, ha ha funny. More like shake your head, roll your eyes, and sigh funny.

Personally I'd call it "I don't want to live on this planet anymore" funny.
