wow, you really ARE obsessed enough to regurgitate absolute nonsense.
Those graphs may be a damnation of trickle down economics, the George Bush tax cuts and the market crash of 2007-2009. Not much else.

"Nonsense" how ? Bad data ? Shady graphs ? (Sure would like them to be fake..)

they are nonsense in several ways. First, the bogus ranges on the x axis. However, virtually every measure there is a long-term trailing indicator which are to be expected of the economy that has been created since Reagan. Very selective measurements, bad presentation. How little intellect should we use to analyze this stuff, Grendel? If one wished to assess the Obama impact, one could look at several decades and see where his 7 year chunk fell, and then, go to the trouble of analyzing WHY the trajectory is the way it is. Take one example: National debt is a function of budget allotments, revenues(plummet during recession, and for a while after) and interest paid. Under Obama, the budget has been closer to balance every year, and interest costs are low, but with Bush's tax cut, it is damned near impossible to get the revenue needed to balance the budget and still fund a recovery which REQUIRED Federal spending on a massive level. Too easy to simplify, scream 'Blame Obama' like a moron, and have no real insight.

So, the data is good ?

I don't actually know, but I was willing to trust that the numbers weren't bogus. The presentation was, and the tie-in with Obama was dubious at best.

If you look carefully, the slopes for many of these are actually changing in Bush's last year of office. Obama wasn't inaugurated until January 20, 2009, and yet (e.g.) as you can see here, the huge rise in printing of money started in September 2008.

Eyeballing, the only two trends that look like they originated during Obama's administration are the increase of student loans and increase of health insurance costs. Note that an increase of student loans may actually be a good thing if it is the result of increased availability, not increased need. The increase in health insurance costs is something we've already largely discussed here, and you either think it's worth it or you don't, and you have already made up your mind.

if you ran the insurance figures back far enough, you'd see a rather consistent, and steadily increasing rise in costs for 15 years or more. As for the student loan rise, that is DIRECTLY tied to the Congress' pulling of funds for grants to a very low level, driving more students into loans that would have seen grants 10, 15, 20 years earlier. Hardly some Obama idea.
In EVERY graph, limiting the window only to 2008-present ignores longterm trends. A closer look at the healthcare cost rise shows an actual DROP in the curve 2008-present, which likely, were one to look at a 15 year chart, would be shown as SLOWING the growth rate seen 2000-2008. Plus, how did student loans equal ZERO until 2010? I distinctly remember people taking out student loans, and many are carrying debt that predates 2008. So, I return to my original cursory evaluation. These numbers are pure garbage.

Slick, you are such a clown, no one takes you serious any more. So is CNN also on par with Alex Jones?

Sometime it appears your nose is so far up Obama's ass you ridicule anything that appears to demean him.

Thanks for the insights. I don't care about the "blame Obama" rhetoric (besides that none of these trends got reversed in the last 8 years), just wondering if the data is way of.

nothing in this thread is in any way accountable upon one person, and in virtually all of them, there is nothing to 'blame' Obama for. Keep trying, as all I see any more is desperation from a sinking ship.
