let me tell you the difference between a movie plot and real life. Han and Luke weren't real, and really oppressed,starved,subjugated,etc,etc. Astounding that a grown adult can't fathom the concept that terrorism doesn't just pop up out of blind hate, or stupid jealousies. Say what you want, some of these folks are ready to sacrifice their lives, which should inform you as to what they view their existence as worth. That can be addressed, and this woman nor I would suggest some sort of overnight change in mindsets.

Anyway…there are no innocents in a war, if you work in a bomb factory, you are just as guilty as the person that drops them. (yes there are actual innocents, but in a different context, but feel please free to point out those as well)

There is no way Ewoks understood the full implications of their helping the Rebel Alliance. From their standpoint they were fighting a religious war against foreign invaders on the ground and had no real conception of what the Death Star was, it's technology, and the dangers it posed to Endor's moon. Even if their religious tradition had an apocalypse story, they certainly didn't understand that C-3P0 would be the harbinger of their extinction.
