TC will love this:
Seven leaders of an armed militia who led a 41-day stand-off at a US federal wildlife refuge in Oregon have been cleared of the charges against them.
Funny how I found this on a foreign news outlet. At any rate the Feds got slapped down on this one and maybe...just maybe the Feds will be less inclined to mess with ranchers.

no problem, this is a good point to state that these characters are FAR from out of the woods. Half the defendants have pleaded guilty to conspiracy charges, the rest still have another trial ahead on those charges, and the Bundy clan is facing a LOT of charges back on their home turf. Now that they are in custody, they will likely stand trial sooner than later on those.

every sick, twisted cult has their heroes. These guys couldn't even remember to bring food to a long-term occupation. Heroes of the stupid, I suppose.
