Cheeto Hiter.

By the way slick, don't underestimate the raw hatred of Hillary on the conservative side. A close college friend of my husband likes to call him and complain about the election at least several times a week. He's absolutely bonkers for Trump and has a visceral hatred of Hillary that I think quite a few conservatives in this country hold right now. This guy really wants to see Hillary convicted of something and put into jail, even if she's elected. He's not your usual working class clueless white guy either. He's an Asian immigrant who's now a citizen, with a Masters Degree in Business and who's not stupid. Even if Hillary wins, the poop is still going to hit the fan.

This is something I never understood about conservative-leaning persons. I can say with certainty that none of my left-leaning friends "hate" Donald Trump; they just think is is dangerously unqualified to be anything but a reality TV personality. In fact, I would never use the word hate to describe any of their political views.

And then you have the opposite side of the spectrum with people like chipper and t-bunny who have a bizarre obsession with Mrs Clinton to the point it reeks of mental illness.

It seems the feeling of left-leaning people, generally speaking of course, is that of astonishment and bewilderment over Trump, but not vitriol and hate. I wouldn't mind seeing some well-funded research into determining why conservative-leaning people are so seemingly unhinged and lacking healthy perspective.

Oh of course not. Liberals are civil, decent and fair minded pacifists that don't attack anyone. Just look at the evidence:

I'd offer this as a starting thesis: The rise of conservative talk radio went hand in hand with a "liberal media" persecution complex. Sort of closing into a bubble built on a foundation of grievance. Clinton was in office, so they were mandatory targets when the snowball started rolling. They are central characters in the creation myths of this movement. Cook for 20-30 years, and serve.

I don’t know how anyone could watch that one video and still think the Trump supporters are the despicable ones.

I don't know how anyone can watch a video and make blanket statements about a group of people.*

*Unless that video is an authoritative statement about the values of a group, by the group.

Am I the only one that's noticed that there has been a LOT of anti-Hillary supporter videos lately?

Exactly what “group of people” are you referring to?
