It should work. In the worst case, it'll have an ADB connection, which would mean that you'd need to buy an ADB-capable print server. But that should be it. Nothing special about the printer itself that should cause problems, I wouldn't think. (Though there might be a lack of drivers to worry about.)

Thanks for the info.

I put the subject in the body because it allows me to copy the body, go to another forum and then paste in the Subject and then in the body.

When you paste in the Subject it only paste the first line so the subject is correct and then you paste again in the body.

I could and sometimes have posted to 4 or 5 forums in a minute by using that method.

I also have a folder of forums in my QuickLaunch tray that makes that part easily accessible.

Wrong cable Pleb. ADB was the cable for the key and mouse. Serial is the correct cable name that u r thinking of. The serials were used for the printer amd modem port cables

Hmm, pretty sure that my parent's old LaserWriter did use an ABD port. But it's been many years since I'd messed with it, so I could be wrong. Been known to happen on occasion. 8)

the ADB and Serial cables looked the same.
