regarding divides, and how we successfully move forward, or if we even can. Good reasoning about the challenges ahead.

Funny how your link is already talking about a "output" divide. Did your links author ever have a article on the racial divide created by the Obama team?

I would suspect Brookings has touched on that. The racial divide is completely a made up distraction for most of us. Sure, there is a pocket of older, resentful white men who view it as something real, but past that, most of us move through life in contact with all races, nationalities and such that present themselves. Interaction leads to both understanding and tolerance. I've seen it firsthand down in Virginia, where most all of the Trump voters I know would no more segregate their thinking from their Black or Mexican fellow citizens than anything. That racial divide is largely a Yankee thing, frankly. Voting patterns really didn't fall into any tight racial pattern either, when one looks closely.

Made up? Are you nuts? I guess you've had your eyes shut during BLM violent marches, assassinated cops and a President who visibly sided with black trouble makers. Of course with enough money you can afford to wear the rose colored blinders that you do.

no, woody, I saw REALITY: Yes there were a lot of marches. Very few overall had the least violence, some in Virginia, the Carolinas and Missouri ended with ongoing dialog with the local community, with cookouts and stuff. Cop shootings have actually been in a downward trend since around 2005, for various reasons, so you're merely being played by alarmists(made up stuff?), and at NO TIME did Obama side with anyone in any way associated with violence or other 'troubles' past trying to right a longstanding wrong that is nationwide. As I said, you're being whipped up to something that doesn't exist to any real threatening degree. The question you should now ask is WHY someone wants you to be and stay alarmed.

Cop shootings may be down, but deliberate assassinations are not.

then, you get into sheer guesswork.
