Uh, huh. Keep trying to rewrite history all you want woody, but no matter how you spin it, 9/11 happened on a Republican president's watch. Bush and company ignored far too many warnings once they got into office, like Al Qaeda's activities and training at flight schools, while focusing on the wrong things, like Iraq, Saddam and missile defense priorities. Yes, Bill Clinton had his idiot missteps dealing with Al Qaeda, but nothing as massive as the 9/11 attack on American soil under Bush.

Seriously though, I want to hear this from TB: if it is indeed a verifiable fact that Russia was ★■◆●ing around with our electoral process with the end goal of getting a particular candidate elected, what do you deem a proper response? A verbal scolding? Just bending over and taking it? I'm genuinely curious.

If the charges are true, and I don't think any of us can say for certain they are or not, I think it's kind of fitting that we would be on the receiving end of the crap we normally do to other countries. Though I doubt this will be a "teachable moment" in this regard. It also illuminates where "sovereignty" really ranks for a lot of people.
