Looking through your Republican rose-colored glasses again woody? If you take a closer look at those charts, most of them show that the declines began during the Bush administration and his unfunded warmongering. Some began during Clinton when Congress was Republican controlled. It's been downhill since. It's too soon to see what happens under a Trump administration with a Republican Congress, but I don't see things changing course either with the types of people he's selecting for his cabinet. I guess we'll get to see what happens when we have a full Republican administration and Congress on steroids. Nightmares abound.

That entire mess of graphs is essentially one huge "correlation does not imply causation" lesson. (Also on hideous abuse of trend lines!) Hell, you could probably write a proper dissertation on the root causes of any one of those data sets.

Yep. And I'll bet you your bottom dollar that Trump will only accelerate that same graphical trend, because the global economy is what's driven most of that current trend. But what I wonder is, WHO will the Reps start blaming in a few years when Trump doesn't pull that promised miracle out of his trashy baseball cap?
