....in Trump land. Mexican Pres visit fucked up, caught in a blatant lie about crime in Philly(murder rate dropped over past decade), greeted by a few thousand protestors at first public event, lets career people go in State, leaving incoming Sec of State, with zero government experience with few if any staff that know how to run a diplomatic corps. Goes on ABC and makes a disgrace of himself, and it really makes you wonder what it must be like for the mid-level staff dealing with what looks to be a true clusterfuck.

....and then this goes live:

what in God's name have you wished upon your nation, Trumpsters? A pox on you all.

And the Doomsday Clock was moved one half-second closer to midnight, closer than it has been since the 1950s, solely because of the actions of one man. ★■◆● ignorance. ★■◆● anti-intellectualism. Drag this piece of human smegma out of that office.

Edit: And this. Six ★■◆●ing days in. Anyone who voted for this man is not competent to set foot outside their hovels. Go ★■◆●ing inbreed yourselves out of existence and get the ★■◆● out of our way.

it is informative here to remember Chavez in Venezuela, who rose to power despite the intellectuals in his nation decrying many of the same sorts of stupid stuff, and berating the opposition for their backing of him. He NEEDED to keep angering those people, because his base would crumble had he not. Same dynamic going here. Yes, I'm disappointed with those in support of Trump, but I don't want those people to see me as an enemy but a fellow American with a different viewpoint.

I would normally be okay with chalking certain things up to a difference of opinion, but when you have a politician whose playbook literally reads like it came straight out of 1930s Germany, who daily expresses sentiments directly opposed to the very foundations of our republic, I will not dignify any statements denying this reality. I have absolutely no use for the willfully ignorant or the maliciously anti-intellectual. They are dragging our entire civilization back into the Dark Ages, and I will not stand idly by and watch it happen.

Oh the irony…

Somebody complaining about anti-intellectualism, while having a seemingly unending tantrum.

You're doing a fantastic job of proving my point by not being able to use "irony" properly.

Your accusation would imply stupidity…not anti-intellectualism.
