For those of you out there who somehow managed to flunk high school history class, here's a little lesson from the recent past courtesy of the American Holocaust Museum's gift shop:



If you choose to willfully ignore the warning signs, then stay out of the way of those who have eyes to see. Maybe afterwards we'll be so kind as to forgive your blindness.

We won't go quietly into the night. We won't bow to petty insults like 'leftist', 'libtard', or any of that because it just won't have any power. We will rage and resist.

I don't know if you've had your eyes open for the last 8 years- but a lot of those were true under the Obama administration.

- Identification of Enemies as a Unifying Cause

- Controlled Mass Media

- Corporate Power Protected

- Rampant Cronyism & Corruption

As for the rest, yes...those worry me.

Dissent was definitely being suppressed- Obama's IRS was attacking any groups that they saw as political opposition and the media (in fact, active collusion with big media including social media giants Facebook/Google and others) actively banned free speech.

I'm watching Trump- but I think the republican party isn't a mindless machine like the democrat party is. They won't follow him like drones as the democrats are for their leaders.

Two things-

The media is CLEARLY not under Trump's control- and until he starts shutting down NBC/ABC/CBS/CNN/MSNBC/AP/NYT, I don't think those fears will be realized.

Trump's conflicts of interest are being actively called out. I don't see anyone covering those up like they were for Clinton or other democrat leaders.

So far it's been things like destroying property and assaulting innocents in the name of "resistance" to Trump.

Yes, the Dems are also guilty of some of this stuff, but Mr. Trump is now president and he's NOT reversing anything. He's actually cementing more of this crap into law with his little edicts. If you and NS can't see that, no amount of talking or posting is going to change your minds. It won't be until it's too late that most Trump lovers and the rest of America finally get the picture. I see President Trump fulfilling his campaign promises far better than any President to date that I can remember. As is predictable, I also see the left using their favorite tactic against him...the smear campaign. Did the same against Bush and TC you fell right in line back then.

So? Who cares about his campaign promises, some of which he's starting to back-peddle on anyway, like Obamacare. I dare you to go through that list TopGun posted and try to disconnect Trump and his actions from any one of those entries. It looks like you came up 10 out of 14 in favor of Fascism, including a few that have been normal operating procedure for decades and a couple you labeled as "damn Republicans". So if Trump put's the last 4 of those in his pocket during his presidency, we're officially a Fascist State. That's pretty a horrifying observation on the current political condition of our country.

Certainly not the conclusion I came to.
