Why in the hell should I rejoice? Religion is fine by me because most people just want and need to believe in a higher power. But any religion that negatively affects people who are NOT of that religion, that's when it becomes a problem. You're always griping about Islam NS, so you obviously worry that religion may affect you. Since this nation is mostly a Christian nation, even though there is no "sanctioned" religion named in the Constitution, any of these outlier Christian views would certainly negatively impact most non-Christians, including Atheists, in this country. Personally, I've found that most mainstream Christians are very nice people.This church almost looks like a product of Pat Robertson, because he's just as virulent on his TV show when he calls for the military to protect Christian churches from all those crazy lefties. He actually stands there and preaches that crap to his followers. Clearly, this Church Militant is going to be a threat to anyone who's not a follower, or a regular Christian. Thank you Trump.

Apparently, Robertson believes that he needs help in that area, including bringing guns into houses of worship for protection, never mind that Jesus would've been be mortified at the prospect. Put it this way. That's about as likely to happen as Sharia Law becoming the law of our land. In fact, Atheists are more unpopular in the U.S. than people from any other religion, although I'm guessing in our current climate that Islam would top Atheists in the unpopularity category. He has the right to fear and loathe anyone who he wants. It's a free country and so far, no one wants him banned from this board. I'd just like to see some more actual discussion about what he thinks needs to be done in order to alleviate his fears or solve the issue he's bringing up instead of just posting a LOT of stuff that he constantly tosses into the wind here to see what and where it sticks. He needs to get more involved a little more in discussions he starts. I'd like to know if he has any ideas or solutions.
