Red meat for Slick, et al:
FERNDALE, Mich. — Inside a plain, two-story brick building in Ferndale hums the nerve center for a growing, religious group hoping the forces that elected President Donald Trump will tear down the wall between church and state.

Church Militant, a fringe group claiming to be Catholic but denounced by the church, broadcasts pro-life, anti-gay, anti-feminist, Islam-fearing content on its website, churchmiltant.com, and through social media using production studios that rival those at local TV news stations. It has 35 full-time employees who publish about 10 stories and three videos every weekday.

Its leader, Michael Voris, has compared Trump with Constantine, the Roman emperor whom he says was "not a moral man" but a "power-hungry egomaniac," but who saw it desirable to end the persecution of Christians. He was a human vessel who elevated Catholicism to the state religion, Voris said.

This reactionary "church" is gaining some popularity because of the way the (leftist) elite has treated the country and the people. Many have had enough- but this reaction (in SOME) is also a danger to our constitutional republic.

It's more dangerous than the Westboro Baptist idiots because of its' appeal to more "mainstream" religionists- but this is relative. Unlike the millions of islamists that follow "conservative islam," they are a microscopic organization with little chance to pose anywhere near the threat that islam poses to humanity.

What about how all those conservative elites have treated people? You know, those bankers who crashed the economy in 2007 who kicked people out of their homes and left those those homes empty to rot in decaying neighborhoods because no one could afford them? The Republicans who deregulated things that allowed that to happen in the first place and which is now happening again under Trump's watch? Elite is elite, there's no difference. They're all of the same stripe because the love and acquisition of money and power binds them all together like flies on a giant turd.
