I could run an IPX LAN multiplayer game, so I reckon it works. You will have to add IPX to your network adapter though. Usually, this is not done automatically when creating a new DUN because afaik it's considered outdated and obsolete.

Well, last night I went through a confusing mess to get my friends' machines to talk to each other through Command & Conquer Tiberian Sun over IPX. What you have to do is install the NWLink IPX/SPX driver (comes w/ Windows) and then assign each machine a different IPX number, and set them all to use the 802.3 frame type.

MS likes pushing people forward.

IPX can be found on the WinXP disk for those that are running that OS.

All you need to do is install IPX and D2 will run.

Were you running D2+Kali on WinXP? Because if you were then at some point you had to install IPX. If not, you must do so. ;) Takes two seconds to install, but if it doesn't work even after you install it, read my previous post.
