At least one of those much hyped Trump campaign promises has finally evaporated. It was inevitable that it couldn't be kept as well. Carrier had already invested in building that large plant in Mexico long before Trump came along, puffed up his chest and promised those workers the moon. So even Emperor Trump can't stop the inevitable march of capitalism and the movement of those Carrier manufacturing jobs to a country that pays it's workers far less than the U.S. does.
