Trump's swamp of establishment neocons is here to stay and it might be taking thousands if not millions of Koreans to their graves soon.
Whose fault is all of this? It starts way back with the Clintons...all the way through Bush and Obama kicking this can down the road. And now it comes to this.
Both parties are responsible for this. Don't tell me different.

Put it this way. If Trump goes to war with North Korea, it'll be a nuclear war because that's what he and Kim Jung Un wants, to kick each other's ass like a couple of adolescent morons. So HE and the Republicans will be the ones responsible since they're now in power and they're in control of their actions. If NK launches their nuclear tipped missiles because either Trump opens his insulting flap trap and insults the unstable leader of NK or even if WE start shooting because we think we can win, I hope I'm at ground zero for one of NK's nuclear missiles so I'm not be around for the apocalyptic mess that follows.

North Korea doesn't have anywhere near enough nukes to even begin to approach causing an apocalypse. They could destroy a city or two and kill millions, but that's pretty much it. After the dust settled people would clean up and rebuild, in a hundred years all that would be left behind would be the memorials and museums.

The worst they could to to the mainland US is an EMP attack. It isn't clear how powerful an EMP it would be- certainly not nearly as apocalyptic as full destruction of our electrical grid, but it would really suck.
The Korean peninsula would be a different story. Seoul would possibly be nuked...certainly pounded to death by a shower of conventional and possibly biological/chemical warfare arms. Millions would die in Seoul and other major cities Kim could reach in his dying throes.
Japan might be affected, but unlikely...as would Guam or Hawaii.
Pyongyang could be nuked...though it's possible Trump wouldn't go that far and just take it with conventional force.
China would invade NK and try to occupy NK to keep the ROK from its doorstep.
Millions of Koreans would die of starvation afterward.
Kiss all of your cheap 4K TVs, samsung phones and tablets, etc. (not to mention most of the components car manufacturers need and many many other electronic toys) goodbye for years.

Yeah, but would you want to be around even if NK tossed an EMP at us? Like NS pointed out, you could kiss most of our modern electronics goodby right off the bat. So whatever area in the U.S. this NK EMP hit, there'd be dead cars, aircraft, trains and trucks, no computers, no cellphones, no internet and no communications, no electricity, no water. Everything is controlled by computers nowadays. Hospitals and the police would be pretty much non-functional except in small areas, for at least a while. Food distribution would be slow or crippled, so big cities would NOT be a place to be at the time. It would be absolute chaos since we are so dependent upon our electronics to do ANYTHING. The cost to replace all that would be astronomical. We'd be back into the stone age for quite a while, at least in certain areas. I don't know which would be worse, the new living hell we created or death.
