GMAIL dosn't get on too well with Opera, so after trying explorer i get the dreaded "page cannot be displayed". Am i just being thick as pig poo, or is it just a question of waiting.

After the initial signup, it seems to be a bit before it works. More kinks I imagine. Should be working in a few hours. Once your account is enabled, it's smooth sailing from then on. No issues with any of the 3 I have other then the Opera thing.

Chances are people are banking on their experience with Google providing a service that's easy to use, easy on the eyes, and innovative.

Their "conversations" thing is pretty interesting, for one. As well as being able to search through all of their mail for essentially as long as they have their account.

Nope, that wouldnt work, dragonball z in avi requires 22.1 GB of space, even in realmedia format it wouldnt fit (DBZ is 276 episodes long and boreing BTW).

Yahoo and hotmail suck. More and more boards are blocking them everyday because of forum trolls so all they're good for are throw-away accounts. Furthermore, the interfaces for both of them look like they've been designed by utter morons. They aren't clean, and are full of useless graphics. They should take a lesson from Google. Its fast, clean, and the ad(s) are unobtrusive. Hell, if you're not even paying alot of attention, you don't even notice the banner ad on the far right.

My invite link worked the other day, but now it's nonfunctional. I get the mickey mouse glove over it and click it, but nothing happens. With all browsers. And firewall disabled. Looks like some sort of javascript nonsense.

Argh... I can't tell who still has accounts to give away, and who still needs them. Those of you who've given all of your accounts away, please edit your posts accordingly (kur, I assume yours are long gone.)
