Man who jumped from Aqua building was Ohio priest under investigation
n Wednesday morning Chicago police promptly cut off rush hour traffic on a street just north of Millennium Park. A man had flung himself from the heights of the Radisson Blu Aqua Hotel, a sleek ultramodern skyscraper reaching 82-stories into the downtown skyline.
The Cook County medical examiner's office announced the next day it was a suicide. The jumper's name was James Csaszar.
Three hundred miles away, the ugly news jolted suburban Columbus, Ohio. Until November, Csaszar had worked as a Catholic priest at the Church of the Resurrection in New Albany, Ohio. Then, after misconduct allegations surfaced about the priest, the 44-year-old was placed on administrative leave.
An investigation into Csaszar will continue despite his death, Ohio law enforcement said.
The Diocese's decision to suspend Csaszar was due to "questionable text and telephone communications with a minor," the church stated in a news release. The Diocese went further to note the charges were also related to a "potential misuse of church funds" while Csaszar was serving at St. Rose of Lima Parish in New Lexington, Ohio, roughly 55 miles southeast of Columbus.
So the guy kills himself before he's even had his day in court? For all we know, no inappropriate sexual encounters with that minor ever took place place, just some sexual misconduct on the phone. Either way, what a sad state of affairs and you wish him dead on just that suspicion. You know what? It would be even better if Donald Trump jumped off that building, because he also has allegations of child rape against him. The accusations against Trump are also not proven, but according to you, "it would be great" if he jumped off a building for being a child sexual rapist before he had a chance to face his accusers in a court of law.
They tend to do that. After meticulously building their image all their lives it's probably kinda tough to admit they're not all they're cracked up to be. Didn't a senator or someone like that commit suicide just a few weeks ago too?
