Or how Trump didn't
really want to be president, but ended as one anyway and stumbled his way through the beginning, making a legion of enemies during the whole flailing process. One of those enemies has come back to haunt Trump, Steve Bannon himself. Here's an excerpt from Michael Wolff's new book, Fire and Fury. Bannon even called Trump's run the "Broke-Dick Campaign". Gawd, you just can't make this stuff up.

I'm so glad this massive clusterfuck has revealed gaping structural weaknesses in the Constitution re: incompetent and/or actively-malicious presidents.

Well, Top Gun has a point. I don't think the Founding Fathers envisioned an egomaniacal narcissistic idiot like Trump
ever being elected to the presidency, plus having a Congress controlled by the president's own party that was thoroughly unwilling to check that president's ambition, power, authority and utterly dangerous stupidity. In fact, some of them are actively protecting Trump by trying to subvert the investigatory process, both the FBI's and Congress', like sycophant Republican
Devin Nunes. Oh, they obviously had thought about it, because isn't that why they created the Electoral College, all because the creators of the Constitution didn't trust direct democracy? So in a weird, stygian twist, it turns out that the Electoral College was the very institution that got a moronic maniac like Trump elected. Ooopsie.
Other than buying the book, which has been sold out almost everywhere including Amazon thanks to Trump's bitching about it, here's more scary stuff from the Hollywood Reporter.
