Im playing apocolyptic factor right now but im not getting any briefings. I thought there was like a novels worth of briefings for this mission

Only thing I can think of is that they don't show up in multiplayer...

Did i need to do something to the files because i didnt touch any of the file after i got them from the zip
i usually dont touch the files because i dont want to mess anything up

No... though there is the question of whether the place you got the mission from, well, did something to the files for you.

Probably not then. Anyone else have any ideas?

If you're using D2X-XL there's an option in d2x.ini that turns off all briefings. Don't know if you are and don't remember if it's default but I think it might have been.

Maybe you play D1 version (done by DFW), not proper D2? Haven't looked on it however and don't know what D1 version look like.

I play the d2 version on rebirth

Try Rebirth 0.58.1 then, I use it, recently played AF and briefings were ok. And check other campaigns, whether everything is ok with briefings

This happened to me too. I had a perfectly fine copy, copied it into a newer Rebirth's directory, and the briefings vanished - except for the one after L15.
