What's your political affiliation?

Post by LightWolf »

It seems pretty obvious (most topics and posts lean left), but I'm curious about how many people fall where on DBB's political spectrum.
Whatever I just said, I hope you understood it correctly. Understood what I meant, I mean.

Conservative or liberal on what issues? People generally can't be put in a box under a single term, and those who put people in boxes (or put themselves in boxes) can't be trusted.

How would you define reactionary? I'd probably use at least 3 of these terms to describe myself.

Also, you seem to be forgetting most of the topics in the past several years were started by right-wing radicals.

The majority. This is just to get a rough idea of where people fall.

"Reactionary" is extreme conservatism, just like "Radical" is extreme liberalism.

"The Majority" is not an answer. You seem to have a primitive understanding of the world and society if you think people are that binary.

I'm afraid several of those terms would describe myself as well, so I can't vote on one. But as of right this moment, I currently sit on the extreme radical liberal part of the spectrum when it comes to anything having to do with Trump and his New Republican Party Cult that's currently in power. Other than that, I tend to be monetarily conservative because I'm older and retired, while at the same time I lean more liberal when it comes to social issues. No single label fits me.

I'll say extremely reactionary, moderate, moderately conservative, and revolutionary.
