What are your thoughts about this? Apparently the CEO was unhappy about what happened. But was he concerned only because he was afraid of losing business? I would hope not but I don't know the man.
I think some disciplinary action should've been taken against those police officers. I'm still boycotting Starbucks.

Probably not quite as clear cut as only being bothered because it could cost money, but caring about the financials is basically the CEO's job so it has to be a factor. Hate the game, not the player.

Everything is done for PR's sake in corporate land. No sad feelings for the poor black guy other than one of his lowly employees caused a racial "incident" and that made for some bad publicity the company didn't want and it needs fixing post haste before customers flee with their money. I kind of want to know what that employee who called the police would've done in the same situation if the black guy had been a white guy in a suit. I think those police officers were just following what the employee requested, get that non-paying loiterer out of our place of business.
