...we've invented to deal with the complexities of fellow humans.

Sounds like the typical deluded low information/indoctrinated leftists being given Darwin Awards.

I never thought humans would actually say that evil doesn't exist, at least until I talked to a certain atheist. I don't think I'm allowed to name names. Do you believe in evil, ThunderBunny? :)

What does it even mean to say it doesn't exist? 9_9 Is something like murder not evil?

Oh, evil is very real. But it's an unfortunate human trait, not the work of the Devil or something that can be blamed on anything other than the person who's perpetrating that evil. Sometimes idealistic people don't understand that love will not always conquer evil or hate and that the price for making that miscalculation can be fatal. And yes, NS, lefties DO tend to harbor that ideal. You know Burlyman, the very same ideal that Jesus preached? So even if you think it's nothing but being weak-minded and clueless, it's a far better trait to have than being an evil-power-hungry-screw-over-everyone schmuck.

I don't know what you mean by that, Tunnelcat, but as I said before, the Lord Jesus is an all-consuming fire. Why do people constantly try to turn Him into a hippie?

I just watched both videos and I don't agree with either of them. It's not "good" to quit your job for a dumb reason, it's not "good" to try to be nice to everybody. I don't know that I even believe this actually happened because it sounds so dumb. So, yes, good is stronger than evil. The existence of the devil doesn't mean one can blame him for all evil actions. The devil will be judged for his actions as we all will for each of ours, so don't give me that "the devil is a make-believe concept" nonsense. 9_9

Looks to me like this couple died in their sin, if this indeed did happen, and if they are who the media says they are. Serves them right.

I love "Christians" who spout bull★■◆● like this in direct opposition to everything that Christ himself stood for.

Oh wait, no I don't.

So Christ stood for publically denying the existence of pretty much everything the Lord warned us about? Did He stand for walking up to killers and asking for a hug? Aren't you the guy who thinks homosexuals and adulterers deserve to live? Get outta here :)

If you think they deserve to die, you are an absolute piece of ★■◆●.

Christ hung out with sinners, prostitutes, the very dregs of society. He preached absolute forgiveness, turning the other cheek, denounced fake self-righteousness. Apparently you didn't ★■◆●ing get any of that.

Well, I think we can add Neo to the list of bigots around here. But if in case he's doing it just to troll, it's one of the lamest attempts yet. He's probably better off just cranking one off every night.

You're funny, Ferno. You call me a bigot for telling you that sinners burn forever in hell. If by cranking one out you mean making a new post here every night, I'd be happy to fulfill your odd request, and I'll become another Thunderbunny.

He didn't preach absolute forgiveness, he preached that sinners are sick and need to repent or they'll end up in hell. He preached that anyone who teaches others to overlook the commandments shall be the least in the kingdom of heaven. He also denounced judging others like how you're judging me, accusing me of being self-righteous. Does hellfire turn the other cheek? Can a witch inherit eternal life? Take it into context. The Bible contradicts your hippie version of Jesus.

Jesus didn't teach absolute forgiveness? Then you don't know enough about his ministry while Jesus was on Earth.

You're such a wicked Christian to use the bible for your own sick amusement.

I was always under the impression that Neo was one of Bubbalou’s 2,422 aliases. Rather than banning anyone, I think it would be easier to just watch Ben Shapiro YouTube videos directly. It’s like an extra step to open a thread, read one sentence, and then click on a link. Like I don’t need someone else’s take on it. The video already is titled: “Watch Shapiro absolutely Own biased libtard” and that’s supposed to convince me.

Burlyman, if you can prove that you're right about something that's based solely on faith and old superstitious writings, even I'll agree with it. Right now, that's all you've got and science has the ball in it's court with the "facts" and those "facts" don't match up with those told in the Bible. Science ultimately may not have things right, because "facts" and theories have a way of being disproved, but right now, they have the overwhelming majority of evidence on their side. I guess when God comes to Earth and takes us to task, we'll all find out what the truth really is. But until that happens, in a Catch 22, I won't know the truth until I pass away and thus be unable to tell everyone all about it.

That's a common misconception, that the currently accepted scientific model came from an innocent search for truth. All I'm gonna say is you better find out before you die, because there are no atheists in hell. :P

But you still don't accept His Son :( It's up to you... I just think it's funny how people fall for the devil's lies... then when they get to hell they cry out to God and tell Him they want to live right... sorry, I'm just preaching now.

But all that aside that couple deserved everything they got doing something so laughably stupid and spitting in God's face and they paid the ultimate price.

I think that's pretty rigid reason to not be accepted into Heaven by God. I thought Jesus was far more loving than that anyway? I believe that being a good, honest and helpful person towards my fellow man while I'm living will count towards something positive after death, religious dogma be damned. Besides, how humane of you Burlyman. If that's your Biblical take on the deaths of 2 clueless people, I want no part of it. No one deserves a horrible death for trying to do something good, no matter how stupid that act is.

It's funny how if you actually click the video link it says this in the video's own description:
Story from Pluralist is somewhat Fake. https://www.cbsnews.com/news/washington ... ay-austin/ Check the CBS source. It says it wasnt so much about proving evil isn't real as much as they said they learned that people were generally kind. I'm leaving this up for the record. The Pluralist added information that is not true for some reason.
Regarding the question of whether evil exists or not, like many questions of this nature, it just depends on how you define it. If you define evil as the shitty stuff that people do, then it exists. If you define it as some spooky metaphysical substance, then probably not so much.
