The Future of Trump

With more scurrilous reports coming out of Trump's own White House about his fitness as president, including Woodward's book called "Fear" and this new one today in the New York Times, an opinion piece about the stability, incompetence and amorality of our president straight from a White House insider, what does everyone think about Trump's future as our president?

Edit: after listening to the news, I added the option -removal via the 25th Amendment. Posters can also re-vote if they change their minds. Anyone who voted previously may have to re-vote in the poll since I changed the options.

That's really a tough one TC. I really have NO idea what's going to happen with Trump.

My gut feeling is that he'll merely serve out his term and lose the next election. I just hope the next president isn't Kim Kardashian (or Kanye). :P

Careful what you wish for. We may get Oprah Winfrey. Or your worst nightmare, a new progressive socialist.

One of two things will happen.

Either he gets dragged out of office, kicking and screaming about a witch hunt like he's done... or he gets re-elected. I want the former (as I'm sure all reasonable, rational-thinking people do), but I'm banking on the latter.

We figured he would get beat out the last election; that people would vote in droves. They instead stayed home and Trump won.

If you want him gone, don't sit around the house thinking other people will do it while banking on the polls.. get the hell out there and make it happen. Not only vote him out, but get other people registered and have them vote him out. Don't make the same mistake as last time. It's the only way to beat him.

I think he fakes his own death and retires to some golf course to live out a quite life in his twilight years. The plan works great until his lightly attended state funeral, when he outs himself by calling in to Hannity's radio show as John Barron to talk about the Amazing Turnout, the Biggest Turnout ever they're saying.

If he were going to be forced out, he'd have been by now. Pence has always been fully capable and willing to sign tax cuts, appoint people to agencies that are the arch nemesis of those agencies, and read the names of a judges from a piece of paper he's given. But Republicans can't do it because a lot of their base are more loyal to Trump than them or any policy, and would revolt if they dumped Trump for Pence. I also think some of the more powerful ideological corners are ok with the Trump spectacle because it distracts attention from their more unpopular deregulation/re-regulation pursuits.

Apparently we're supposed to cheer some anonymous person in the White House saying Trump's unfit. Well no sh!t Sherlock. We knew Trump was totally unfit to be President before he ever came down the golden escalator.

I had a dream that he got beat by Obama after serving a full term. :P

Heh, I've never voted for Obama but I would cast a ballot for him without hesitation if he ran against Trump.

Hell, I'd like to see a little schadenfreude and have a died-in-the-wool socialist win the next time around. Every Trumptard in the U.S. who gave us this idiot deserves it.
