TC...you know VERY WELL that the Republicans aren't going to take away the 1st Amendment. The democrats on the other hand...they have actually ATTACKED the 1st and 2nd Amendments in force. It's just sheer luck they haven't gotten the power yet to take them away.

And neither are the Democrats. They're practically married to the press, so the 1st Amendment is safe. As for guns, if they even tried to outright ban guns, there would be a huge revolution they'd have to contend with and they know it. Your fears are just that, irrational fears.
