Is it just a coincidence that many of the greatest cities in America became poverty-infested hellholes once the Democrats took charge of things? Detroit, Baltimore, Chicago, St. Louis, Philadelphia, Oakland and Memphis were all once great cities. But after an extended period of control by the Democratic Party, each one of them has become a festering crisis that never seems to end. I thought that I was going to do an article about Baltimore today, but it occurred to me that the exact same things that are happening in Baltimore are also happening in a multitude of other major cities, and the common theme among all of them is that the Democrats are in control. But even though this is the case, voters in those cities just keep choosing Democrats election after election anyway.

In fact, it was the highest murder rate that Baltimore had ever seen.

So who runs Baltimore?

Democrats.

But Baltimore is definitely not alone. When you start going down the list, you find a lot more major cities run by Democrats…

#2 Detroit – Run By Democrats

#3 Memphis – Run By Democrats

#4 Chicago – Run By Democrats

#5 Philadelphia – Run By Democrats

And this is certainly not just a recent phenomenon. According to a broader study of major cities, there is a very strong correlation between Democratic control and violent crime…

ITT TB fails to learn that correlation does not imply causation. Shall I link statistics about the poverty rate in Republican-run states?

This is a salad of logical fallacies. Strawmanning, begging the question, cherrypicking, texas sharpshooting and moving the goalposts. I haven't seen anything this intellectually dishonest in a long time.

And this, in the very same article TB linked to, unequivocally kills his position.
Mayor Catherine Pugh said Tuesday that she has been attempting to curb the killings by attacking the root causes of poverty and lack of opportunity that fuel the violent drug trade. So far this year, the number of killings is down 15 percent from last year

"Our efforts to reduce violent crime are producing clear results," Pugh said. "Crime is declining in every category."

Pugh said even greater gains have been recorded in neighborhoods she has tagged as part of a Violence Reduction Initiative. Such areas receive a surge of city resources, ranging from fixing street lights to employment services.
Holy ★■◆● TB.. do you even read the articles you post? Or has your confirmation bias has gone so far off the charts you've become blind?

This is just another Trump fart being used to rally his idiotic base.

I also don't see Republicans helping the situation when it comes to our old infrastructure poisoning and killing people. You know, like Flint Michigan, where a Republican governor took over financial control of a bankrupt Democratically-led city via very un-democratic means, by assigning overlords called "financial mangers", who cut costs without any skin in the game because they didn't even live in Flint. These overlords then changed the water source to the Flint River's more acidic and cheaper water, which then proceeded to poison people and their children with lead as it dissolved the insides of their city's old lead water pipes. Then they wouldn't take responsibility for the mess and tried to cover it up. In fact, they could have even prevented the whole mess by pre-treating the water BEFORE it was sent out into the old pipes. But hey, that cost just a little too much in their books.

I also see very little movement in getting funding to repair our nation's crumbling utilities, like gas lines, water lines, roads and bridges? That was also another one of Trump's signature campaign promise that's not been kept. The bastard would rather allocate billions of dollars on an expensive border wall and a "space force" that much already exists. Thousands of people die every year because of poorly maintained roads, bridges, gas lines, etc. All those deaths easily top every city's murder rate combined in America.
