Midterms.

Busiest I've ever seen a midterm election, I went at 10 AM and the count was already nearly 10% of the city population. Even going at an off-hour I still had to wait a couple minutes in line, glad I took the day off so I didn't have to go during the actual busy periods.

I voted two weeks ago with a mail/absentee ballot. I haven't voted in person since like 2004.

Vote by mail rules. However, today my coworker pointed out there is a chance of casting a ballot before a scandal breaks right before election day and that is less than ideal. I voted over a month ago. Now I think I'll hold on to my ballot a few more days before mailing.

I voted. For school board I wrote in my girlfriends name just because. Her mother made the mistake of asking me who I am voting for and I told her:
“I’m writing in Louis Farrakhan for mayor.”
She laughed. It’s nice when a 73 year old white lady can laugh. ;-)

Pennsylvania hasn't figured out that early voting can be a thing, but I snuck in and out with no line whatsoever. Based on the number in the roll book it seemed heavier than what I remember from last midterm.

I voted by email yesterday. It's not the most secure or resilient way of voting... but then again, regular mail probably isn't any more secure or resilient.

I voted by mail 2 weeks ago, but I put my ballot in one of several secure ballot boxes located around town. Saved a stamp. Plus, the Dems just took control of the House and a whole bunch of Dem women won their state's races. We also dumped a Republican governor challenger who was neck and neck with a lackluster Dem incumbent early on. Even Ted Cruz nearly lost to Beto....IN TEXAS. That would have been a cause celeb by itself. Suck it Trump.

Officially the turn out in my town was 83% of registered voters. The results are progress even if its small, but I can already predict 2020 is going to be another long and difficult election season.

I thought about voting for all Demoncats just so the antichrist would come faster.

You'd write TC in for everything?

Hmm. Maybe I should change my avatar name to Demoncat?
It looks like Florida is yet again the vote count clusterf*ck. This time, it's the Republicans whining. Poor babies. Take your medicine like everyone on the left had to choke on ever since Florida gave us Dubya.
