That's a squishy Constitutional question with no hard answer of "yes" or "no", at least according to many Constitutional Scholars.

However, the next question is, would a Biden/Obama ticket be an electable choice for the Dems? Probably not, IMO. We already went through eight years of that and I think that most Americans who aren't blindly in love with Trump are desperately looking for new fresh leadership to hopefully unite the country and return some form of class and decorum to the office of the president, not to elect the same old same old we left a few years ago. Add in the chance that a VP Obama perhaps could become president all over again through unforeseen circumstances and you've got poison. As for Biden, he's saddled with old baggage and old ideas and he's just plain old, like Sanders, which increases the odds of Obama becoming president......again. I think the Dems are making a huge mistake if they eventually nominate someone based solely on that candidate's supposed ability to defeat Trump.
