Still no Descent 4 yet. Interplay should be bouncing back anytime now.

I hope you didn't think this was lame attempt at a old April fools joke.

As far as I'm concerned, Overload is more than good enough for now. Way more.
And probably lightyears ahead of anything Interplay would do.

Overload: The April Fools joke you can actually play!
...even if it was really released in May.

I haven't even played Overload or any of the new 6DOF games. The game does look very impressive. Overload looks like a fusion between D2 and D3, but with it's own style. Maybe someday I'll give the game a try, just not anytime soon.

That's a fairly good way of putting it, I think... just with a little more emphasis on the *fusion* part

I'd highly recommend it, whenever you get around to it. It'll still be waiting.
