I finished level 2 and I just wanted to say that I had fun. I'll move on to level 3 later... or tomorrow, but I like the single player. I think I can see why I don't like multiplayer because of the velocity of some of the weapons, but it's great for single player. I finished level 2 with the Super Laser equivalent (I guess) called a Cyclone. The graphics look pretty good and blowing up the robots is fun especially since I learned how to fly and control my ship in Descent 3. Good job, guys.

Oh, one more thing, I'm glad you chose the spacey music that people don't like. I think it fits. edit: oh I heard some rock music on Phoebe station.
