My hardware is getting old and needs to be updated. The devices that will be connected through Wi-Fi will be 4 computers, 3 Roku, and 3 cells phones.

FWIW, I really have never had many problems at all with NetGear products.
(disclosure I have no connection to NetGear at all. I just like their products)

I like to use my cable supplied modem because I also have internet phone through them but I have that setup as a pass through and use a NetGear router.
I have quite a lot connected...

-Wired...
4 computers
1 NAS box

-2.4Gwifi...
2 smart plugs
1 really old Android TV box
1 really old Android tablet

-5Gwifi...
1 Roku TV
1 Roku box
2 newer Android TV boxes
1 Android phone

I have also setup the network at my sisters house with an actual NetGear cable modem.

I know they have all sorts of devices hanging off the WIFI of that, including both Google and Amazon voice assistants.

Just my opinion that NetGear makes some good hardware. :)

I ended up going with NetGear again. Copied the same information over to the new unit, because reprogramming everything is a pain in the ass. Having a rather long WiFi password doesn't help either. Forgot to mention we also have 5 Ring devices.
