How in the hell are the Dems responsible for a recession? The only government contribution
to the start of any inflation was all those Covid stimulus checks that were given to people to help pay for food and rent when they lost their jobs and/or businesses during the pandemic.
Remember, a huge chunk of that was doled out during Trump's reign BY THE WAY. Heaven forbid that people lose their homes or starve while Trump is in office.

I will grant you that Biden hasn't responded aggressively to the current inflation, but frankly, I'm not sure WHAT he can do at this point. Sure, as he keeps pressing with his Climate Agenda, government debt will only increase. But if you're currently baking in the heat like I am or drowning in big floods like others are, it might be money well spent just for our salvation. By the way, Biden's already released reserve oil into the markets, which has been dropping prices, albeit slowly. The Feds have been doing what they CAN do, raising rates, but as we've seen in the past, that's probably only a panacea and not really a cure. Maybe Biden needs to go down and kick some oil company butt and tell them to get off their now very rich pig asses and ramp up refining capacity by using some of that ill gotten profit they've been sucking out of our wallets to increase refining capacity, because the lack of that is one of the reasons our gas prices are so high, not the lack of actual crude oil supplies. Geez, oil prices driving inflation all over again, how quaint and predictable. History repeats itself because no one, especially conservatives, want to change the status quo and at least
attempt to wean ourselves off of our dependence on oil and work to solve our country's energy and climate problem
permanently.
Also remember, most of those Covid stimulus payments have ended and now the current inflation is mostly
our own damn fault. The pandemic subsided, people went crazy after months of being cooped up and charged out on a wild spree of driving, traveling and spending like no other. In the meantime, shuttered factories, shipping companies and the airlines couldn't respond fast enough to meet the high demand after the pandemic, so everything was in short supply. And corporations, looking for cheap wages, moved a LOT of production overseas, which also was a glaring weak point in our economy waiting to break, which it did spectacularly. At the same time, Trump's favorite despot asswipe Putin invaded a sovereign country, Ukraine, indiscriminately bombed women and children and destroyed their homes, all to assuage his short man ego and in doing so, screws up the
entire world's oil and commodity markets. ONE ★■◆●ing MAN did all that! Maybe Biden ought to nuke Moscow, kill off that ★■◆●ing Putin and all his cronies and solve the Ukraine crisis and world oil problem in one fell swoop? You up for that solution?
