And I'm sure his motherboard just loved the grease spurting off the egg while it was cooking.

Seen it before, thats a funny one. But I bet you could fry an egg way faster on a P4 prescott.

I wonder how a first generation K6/3 would do.
Anyone got a mathematical breakdown of how fast a given CPU could cook an egg given its heat output? One of you ultranerds?

English pennies are great conductors of heat. They also taste nice.

Make sure to leave it on long enough so that it's fried, not sunnyside-up. That runny stuff is nasty
.

K6/3? That would barely warm the egg. Those things didn't even have fans on the heatsink..if they even had a heatsink!

If I wanted it runny, I'd eat it raw
.
I wonder if a CPU can make a good Eggs Benedict?

He should have toasted the bread.

Actually, the K6-3 line was famous for running hotter than usual.
They had to recall the 550 line because they kept frying themselves IIRC. (or was it the 450?)
At any rate, anything p2 and above should fry an egg in short order.
I wonder how fast a dual xeon sys would fry an egg.

With proper cooling both of my procs stay around the 40C range. You figure it out.

Something like A1 Steak Sauce or Worcestershire sauce, I guess.

I had to run my K6/3 with the case off and a fan pointing into it because it ran so hot for a long time until I went fan-mad on my case.

its actually not to bad, and the name is straight to the point. its a tangy kind of sauce. goes well with steak and well.. everything really.
