There's too many things to argue against in this post. So I think this is a legitimate use for chatgpt on this forum
Chatgpt 4o wrote:
Woody's list provided appears to conflate multiple issues and distorts facts for political gain. It's important to critically assess each claim individually rather than blanketly dismissing them as hoaxes.
1. Russia Collusion: Multiple investigations, including by Special Counsel Robert Mueller, found evidence of Russian interference in the 2016 election and numerous contacts between Trump associates and Russian operatives. While collusion was not conclusively proven, interference was.
2. Hands Up, Don’t Shoot: This slogan arose from conflicting eyewitness accounts of Michael Brown’s death. The DOJ report did find systemic issues in the Ferguson police department, shedding light on broader racial injustice.
3. Jussie Smollett: This was indeed a hoax, and he faced legal consequences for it. However, it’s not representative of broader societal movements for racial justice.
4. Covington Incident: The initial coverage was misleading, but subsequent full video footage provided context, showing a complex situation involving multiple groups.
5. Very Fine People: Trump’s “very fine people on both sides” comment regarding Charlottesville was widely criticized as giving a moral equivalence between white supremacists and those protesting against them, which is a significant concern for many.
6. Seven-Hour Gap: The gap in Trump’s call logs during the Capitol riot is under investigation. The absence of these records during a critical period is concerning.
7. Russian Bounties: Intelligence reports suggested that Russia offered bounties for killing American soldiers in Afghanistan, a claim taken seriously by the military and intelligence community.
8. Trump Trashes Troops: Multiple credible sources confirmed Trump’s disparaging comments about fallen soldiers. These sources included individuals close to Trump, adding weight to these claims.
9. January 6: The Capitol riot was a violent attack resulting in deaths and injuries. It wasn’t a “mostly peaceful” protest but an attempt to overturn the election results.
10. Rittenhouse: The case of Kyle Rittenhouse is complex, involving self-defense claims and broader discussions about gun laws and vigilantism.
11. Eating While Black: Incidents of racial profiling are documented and reflect systemic issues within society.
12. Border Agents: The images were misinterpreted, but the broader issue of the treatment of migrants at the border remains a concern.
13. NASCAR Noose: The investigation found the noose had been there for months, but the initial reaction was based on legitimate concerns about racism.
14. Georgia Voting Law: Critics argue the law makes voting more difficult, particularly for minorities, leading to the “Jim Crow 2.0” label.
15. Trump Assaulting Agents: This was based on a witness's account under oath and is part of ongoing investigations.
16. Paul Pelosi: The attack on Paul Pelosi was widely condemned, and attributing it to political motives without evidence is speculative.
17. COVID Lab Leak: The origin of COVID-19 is still under investigation, and discussing various theories is part of the scientific process.
18. Hunter Biden’s Laptop: The laptop’s contents are still being investigated, and declaring it outright disinformation or fully verified is premature.
19. Gas Stoves: Regulatory discussions on gas stoves are based on health concerns, not outright bans.
20. COVID Deaths: Over-counting or under-counting COVID deaths is debated among experts, reflecting the complexities of tracking a pandemic.
21. Mass Graves in Canada: Investigations are ongoing into the graves of Indigenous children, a tragic part of Canada’s history.
22. Trump and Fish: This was a misinterpretation of a diplomatic event.
23. Bleach: Trump did suggest injecting disinfectants, which was widely criticized by medical experts.
24. Hamas Hospital: The fog of war often leads to conflicting reports, but independent verification is crucial.
25. Trump Executions: Speculative and without evidence.
26. COVID Hospitalizations: Numbers were often contextualized with underlying conditions.
27. Environmental Hoaxes: Requires specific examples for discussion.
28. Alfa Bank: Part of broader investigations into Russian interference.
29. Libs of TikTok: Misleading, the platform shares controversial content.
30. Aaron Rodgers: Statements taken out of context.
31. Bloodbath: Often used metaphorically in political rhetoric.
32. Biden's Health: His cognitive abilities are monitored, but claims of severe decline are often partisan.
The post simplifies complex issues and uses broad strokes to dismiss legitimate concerns. Each claim needs a nuanced and evidence-based analysis rather than blanket labeling as a hoax.
For 32, I'm pretty sure the ai would say different if it saw the debate.

Isaac, I think the problem is you're chatgpt. I looked at one response,"5. Very Fine People: Trump’s “very fine people on both sides” comment regarding Charlottesville was widely criticized as giving a moral equivalence between white supremacists and those protesting against them, which is a significant concern for many."
You might want to view Snopes take on this: https://www.snopes.com/fact-check/trump ... ne-people/
I chose this example as it was one of the lies Biden specifically brought up during the debate. I'll let you determine if the AI behind Chatgpt is really giving you a truthful answer when Snopes categorically deemed it false.

Maybe you should read the subtext. Trump claimed he was referring to other people at that rally, but his denial was tepid at best and a more forceful somewhat lacking denial came much, much later. Trump has more connections to white nationalists and neo-nazis than you'd like to admit woody, including armed groups right wing militia grouos who were at the Jan. 6th riot (they stashed their weapons at a hotel in preparation for civil war and insurrection) and within your own party.
Meanwhile, Kevin Roberts has issed a veiled threat to all liberals. I hope he realizes that not just conservatives are armed, nor will they sit for his Heritage Foundation's future vision of our country.
Kevin Roberts wrote:we are in the process of the second American Revolution, which will remain bloodless ― if the left allows it to be..."

Subtext? Yeah, I suppose only someone wanting to make it true would try that, Again, Snopes determined it was false. End of story.

So? I can't judge what comes out of his pie hole except by his actions and neither can Snopes. But actions speak louder than words. The whole rally was conceived by alt-right wingers Richard Spencer and Jason Kessler, which was also attended by David Duke of KKK fame. Uh Huh. Why? To protest a statue of a racist traitor to our Republic being taken down? No. ★■◆● that heritage. It was pure hate mongering to rile up people and start a fight. Really nice people there. Trump should've kept that one comment out of his whole response and condemned everyone who resorted to violence on either side, then none of this discussion would be taking place. But he uses too many superlatives and hand waving to cover the fact that he's an idiot and just can't come to the point like most smart people could.

Trump was talking about the Civil War when he said,"there were nice people on both side", The leftist tried to warp that into something else. And as I recall Robert Bryd was eulogised by Biden. Didn't hear Biden catch much flack from that...unlike Sen. Trent Lott was forced out of the his senate race because he gave some kind words to Strom Thurmond. Liberals are good at throwing mud but not so good at looking in their own backyard.
And yes feel free to voice your opinion but try to keep it factual, which I know is hard for a liberl.

bull★■◆●. You can't rewrite what Trump said to cover his fat ass. He was talking about the protesters in that instance, BECAUSE THE PRESS WAS SPECIFICALLY ASKING HIM ABOUT IT, plain and simple. If he'd been anywhere near presidential, he would've condemned the whole mess, moved on and it would've shut up the press. But as we've seen over and over, HE'S AN IDIOT and blathers whatever nonsense comes into his little rotten pea brain.

It would appear I was in error about talking about Trumps talking about the civil war. My apologies.
Apology accepted! It's hard to navigate information, disinformation, and the limits of human memory.

Yeah and Taylor , " said Thursday on MSNBC’s “Deadline” that Trump wanted members of Congress to be killed on January 6 so he could declare martial law and stay in power."
If you want to listen to whack jobs like this, no wonder you're thinking process is askew.

How do you know that's not true, at least with the Dem members of Congress? I mean, you believe Jan. 6th was a peaceful demonstration, despite video to the contrary.

Or government undercover agents from the FBI. Both have been promulgated by Tucker Carlson and both debunked. Any wild story except what actually happened.
