Hello,
I believe it was discussed many times during basicly 30 years of Descent existence, but I don't think there is recorded full game single segment deadless run yet. Actually, did anybody achieved it at all? I recently practiced for it and made it happen. Twice! When I did it first time, I was too excited about it that I accidentally didn't save the demo. Made all 30 levels in 2h36min, killing all robots (excluding matcens), without a single death. 2 days later I repeated it and this time I saved the demo! Funny enough, I did it in 2h36min again. Only one little detail that is a bit unsatisfying, I missed one robot in L25. Due to a little black out I forgot about PTMC Defense Prototype behind one door, which I realised after blowing off the reactor. At least I'm confident I did kill every robot in my nonsaved run, so I know I did the chalange I set for myself anyway (I use a kill counter tool, so I always check it at the end of level, so I'm sure about it).

I don't think I could have come close to pulling off something like that even in my prime.

In total I have spent so much time by improving insane speedruns of all individuals levels, that I believed I should be capable of doing this run. But it was still seriously challenging. No matter how much shield you have, any roaming missile robot on a bad spot can cause sudden death. And actually not only missile robot. By far the worst level is 19. You really need serious dedication when you keep dying there because of multiple roaming deadly robots where there is not a safe spot at all. So after almost 2h of intense playing you start from scratch again. And I would say second worst is L20. It can go terribly wrong aswell. So these two levels one after another are the real deal. I have to admit I started to be nervous when I made it to L21. But both cases I converted into succesfull run.

This is absolutely unbelievably amazing.
