I just learned that our divorce trial date is now set in stone ... August 9.
Too bad ... her 2nd lawyer just resigned and she has no representation at all. She refuses to go see the shrink that the judge ordered her to see, she rarely shows up to see her children, she is spiraling down hard. I saw her the other day and my gawd ... she looks horrible.
I have some prep work to do ... a few days with my lawyer and a few days with the shrink. I am having the shrink do a FULL psychological evaluation of myself and the children. She will testify in court as to my parenting skills and (hopefully lack of) personality disorders as well as the emotional state of my children.
Anyhow, I expect good results for my children and I and I can't wait to get this all over with.

Thx ... I dont particulary find joy in the fact that she is going down. In fact I grieve for her.
The + is that it appears that my children and I will be able to start a new, good life together.
I dunno if it will delay it all or not ... I suppose the court will appoint someone for her since she will have a hard time finding representation.

Congrats, Ice. Sounds like it's all going well.
I just hope that she gets the help it sounds like she needs once she loses (since it does sound like that's where it's heading). Might be the kick she needs to realize it. At least we can hope.
