Mystery of the day

Post by Ned »

I looked on www.newegg.com and cannot find the difference between the following:

ADA3000BOX $173
ADA3000AXBOX $175

I called new egg, they couldn't tell me either and I cannot get through to AMD.

Who loves a puzzle?

Yep they are AMP 64 3000+ chips, but they both say retail. The guy at new egg couldn't figure it out. And 2 or 3$ difference? Very bizarre.

I've seen similar.

[brand] CD burner, retail, [specs here] $50
[brand] CD burner, retail, [better specs here] $48

Same brand. I think the pricing guys are on shrooms over there. :)

According to a review, the cheaper one is actually a clawhammer core....
