Just wondering why HTML is off. I have it selected ON in my profile.
BTW why do like all (but PD) forums have only UBB?

This is really a feedback topic.
HTML is disabled forum-wide because some people were having a little bit too much fun.
Moving to Feedback Forum...

What do you think you need HTML for?

this isn't UBB
Most BB's I go to use phpBB, as does this one.

Allowing HTML is potentially insecure, which is why nearly every forum has its own BBCode (of course there are common elements, such as [url]). Though phpBB allows limiting of HTML allowed tags if you do turn it on.

Signatures are disabled here. They are still enabled in PMs though, which implies that the disabling was done by a template modification (that wasn't completely done).

Sigs are off because people were abusing them worse than a red-headed step child.
I think its a good thing because IMO sigs just add wasted space to threads.

Incorrect. See, signatures are disabled ONLY for posting. This is not a template issue as they were available on the test site. The only reason you see them in private messages is because users have them enabled in their profiles.
