Combining sub-models in 3ds Max 4.
When I try to import a certain model into OOF Editor, POFGEN places all the sub-models on the center, making it impossible to work with. I know this can be solved by combining all the sub-models before importing it into 3ds, but 3dsgen won't convert it when I do that. So is there a way to combine the sub-models in 3ds so that pofgen will convert it the way it should? I already tried grouping them but that didn't work.

reset the XREF in 3dsm
IOW once you have the objects postioned accordingly. Recenter their global axis (to world), usally that is 0,0,0
Or highlight the main object click attach and select all sub objects,
then as 1 ehole object, align the objects axis to the center of the world to 0,0,0. then seperate them to individual objects and they will have the same axis based on 0,0,0
If you read the directions for POFGEN you would have seen it (XREF)
