RAID Riddle

three SCSI 35 GB HD I be made of, One 70 gig drive I show to the world. what am I?

Umm, with RAID5 and 3 discs you get 2/3 of the total space as the parity bits across all three drives eats up about that much space. Then again it could be RAID3, striping with a dedicated parity disk.

How about a badly partitioned RAID0 array?

According to IBM's ServerRAID manager, its level 5.
