Hey everyone,

I know some of you have followed my artwork in the PTMC Art Gallery and I'd like to thank you for all the comments you have posted.

I'm graduating this December but have been hired by Electronic Arts Tiburon to start work in January. I'm going to be a character modeler

EA Tiburon works on titles such as Madden, NCAA, and NFL Street. They're also talking about branching out from sports titles in the coming years.

So maybe if any of you like sports titles you'll end up playing a game I've worked on in the near future!

Hey thanks everyone for the replies & kind words! I got my paperwork today and there's some nasty NDA forms so I guess my lips are sealed about what goes on in the studio!!

I can only hope I one day work on a game as addictive as Descent 3... Then my life will be complete

That said, you suck. Your story sounds much like my sister's. She taught herself Photoshop and got so good at it that she started working on projects for DarkHorse Comics. Meanwhile, it took ME 3 YEARS to get into the field I wanted. That's after school, too!

Not to rain on anybody's parade, but HAL9000 would like to strongly disagree with you.

EA pays well, but you're a small cog in a big wheel. I'll stick to smaller independent dev studios because they're more interesting. But hey, there's nothing wrong with working for The Man.

All I can say is that The Man has incredible benefits and perks. The likes of which you could not even imagine. To go through the list would take too long, and would sound like bragging.

But I was sold in no time.
